Oy Vey...
Tomorrow, I will celebrate my 1st week surgiversary. I'm getting around really good, no nausea, no vomiting, almost non-existent pain. I want to get out of the house more other than walking yet my so-called support system is hell bent on keeping me house bound.
I have a serious case of cabin fever.
It's like I'm Paul Sheldon being held captive by my own Annie Wilkes.
I'm hoping to start driving next week if Annie let's me out. I'm in Ohio and it's been soggy. Nearest mall for me is 35 min. away...but does sound fun walking there.

Glad to hear you're feeling so good, that's great. Do not underestimate the fatigue you will feel for a while so don't plan too big of outings. You've had major surgery and are existing in very few calories, ease your way into activity. Start with a 10 minute walk and increase from there. Getting in and out of a car plus the walk from the parking lot at a mall can exhaust you at the beginning. Just make sure you have places to rest and hydrate. Take it mindfully now and soon you'll be unstoppable!
Surgery: April 30, 2014: HW: 288 SW: 250 Achieved Goal 149 lbs: April 8, 2015 CW: 158 lbs (working on losing 65 lb regain as of June 1, 2021. Weight was at 215 lbs). Fighting every darn day!
Listen to nexxi they had some great advice. Hopefully your weather gets nicer there and you can start walking around the block. I started doing that then 2 blocks then 4 blocks. It's going to be a wild ride. Stick to your plan
I can't tell if you're joking or not. If you aren't, I hope you're taking steps to get out of your situation - as an adult, no one should be trapping you in your own home. If you are joking, ha ha ha.

I'm with Gwen I can't tell if you are joking or if you really need some sort of help. Either you aren't taking responsibility for your own actions by saying others are wanting you to eat and now keeping you from exercising. You either have to stand up and tell them how YOU are doing your program and ignore them or get to a therapist who can help you sort this all out. Only you are responsible for what you eat and how much exercise you get. If what they say doesn't fit with your program then it is time to tell them to buzz off and do what you know you want and need to do. No one can make you do anything unless you allow it!! If you want to go for 2 or 3 short walks during the day then that is none of their business, just go do it!
