Has anyone tried these snacks called harvest snaps? They are ssupposed to be gluten free and healthy. What did you thonk of them?

I have the tomato basil lentil ones on occasion, they're not too bad.

However-- one serving (22 crisps) is 120 cal and 15g carbs. When an entire day is 600 - 800 cal and < 30 - 40 carbs, however, you're much better having a protein-heavy snack.

Too many calories for too little nutrtion. Check out "fibergourmet".  One serving is 60 calories, 12 fiber, 4 grams protein. Lots of different flavors, but my two favorite are the cheeze it version and the cinnamon option. If you buy several cases on their website there is a significant discount. (No, I don't eat all of them! My daughters really like them too!) Another option I like is from Kay's Naturals. They have protein pretzels covered in cinnamon. 120 calories, but also 12 grams of protein. I am not a big meat eater so I appreciate protein sources that do not involve flesh!
