1 yr an 7 months

Hello, I'm Linda and on next Monday it will be my 1 month and 7 month anniversary.  I'm in desperate need of skin removal on my thighs, butt and stomach.  I'm told that SSI will not pay for the surgery because they consider it "cosmetic".  I have fat pouches on my lower thighs right at the knees.  It makes me walk funny and wearing Spanx is a must.  Does anyone know whether its true about SSI?  Also, I have Arthritis in both knees and Spinal Stenosis.  These conitions have worsen dramatically since the surgery.  I thought once I had loss some weight these conditions would get a little better.  I now have to walk with a cane.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.
