Congrats!! How exciting! You'll have some pain, but it will be OK and you will get better fast. Walk as much and as quickly as you can. I did 2 laps around the floor 5 hours after my surgery. Get the drip (pain meds) to stay ahead of the pain in the beginning. I was off it in a day, but it helped in the beginning. But the best thing I did for myself was the walking. When people came to visit, I had them walk the floor with me. Welcome to your new life!!
