my husband is acting like im on death row lmao
he said where do you want your last meal HAHAHAHA i was like WHAT he said im serious what if you die and you dont get another normal meal id hate to know you died that way.. JEEZE.... he mad me feel awful like i was on death row he was like name the place and ill take you there but you know i cant think of anywhere i wanna go or if i want a last meal...i guess its the food funeral right?? did you have one? want? need one??
Hi,
I didn't have a food funeral. I figured the previous 40 years of over-eating were enough. Once I got started with the pre-surgery diet, I didn't want to lose momentum. Now, when I watch people eating normal meals while I eat my tiny portions, I wish I could have a big meal, just once... But when all is said and done, I am so happy to be a normal weight and more mobile, and healthier.
best wishes
Carol

I had one and I have no regrets! :)
I tailgated ALL day the day before I started my liquid diet! Looking back now I couldn't even imagine now. At the time I had all my favorite football snacks!

I had a weekend of last meals :) I don't regret it at all. My surgery was two days after my birthday, so I was on liquids for my birthday. So the weekend before I started liquids, we celebrated and ate out at a few restaurants. It was great. Pretty sure it hasn't made a bit of difference.

I had them and don't regret them. Especially the all you can Brazilian steakhouse. Turns out, that is really the only one I needed to do. All the rest, I can still eat, just in much smaller quantities and limited visits. The Brazilian place would be a total waste of money now.

I went to a Brazilian steakhouse 6 weeks post-op. Fogo, specifically. My BIL and his fiancee were in town and my partner wanted to show them "how real Americans eat." LOL. I got the salad bar only option and it was perfect. I can't imagine I'd go to one of my own free will any time soon!
