Well, It's the day before surgery..

..and I don't know how to feel. I leave to Harper Hospital at 3:30 AM (Surgery is at 7:30 AM, but have to arrive 3 hours early. It takes an hour to get there.)

On one hand, I feel excited to get this new tool to help me with my weight loss.

On the other hand, I never had any kind of regular (non-twilight) anesthesia before and the biggest surgery I ever had was tooth extraction. I don't know if I'll be in immediate pain when I come out of surgery or I'll feel fine.

I think I will be fine, sometimes I tend to over-worry on things.

I feel ya and had the same anxiety.  I pray you will be fine and afterwards the joy begins. Get your rest and enjoy your new chapter.

Yes...nervous excitement.  Crazy feeling.  I remember getting on the table then I was being wheeled into recovery. I was in and out sleeping in recovery. Then wheeled me to the room. I had my chapstick I think I had a lemonade flavor and cherry. Ice chips or a swab to wet my mouth. The iv pump for pain was interesting. I was told to hit it whenever I felt pain. I just hit it whenever I woke up.lol  I just tell you to get up and walk as soon and as often as you can and sip, sip, sip. Keep us posted

I will try! My parents are telling me not to bring my phone or laptop with me (they think the nursing staff or other patients will steal them!).

The laptop I didn't need. The phone and charger I used a few times. I was glad I had the smartphone the last day in the hospital. 

I have a back-up Moto G that I can use. Hopefully they have free wifi in my room LOL. (they have free wifi throughout the hopsital)

We are surgery buddies was told to be there at 830 so I guess I'll be under the knife by 10 or 11  I will have leave the house at 5 or 530 to drive there it's that long of a.drive I'm bringing my kindle in case I feel like using this all liquid diet is the pits though I can't wait till bedtime I'm feeling sick to my tummy I'm taking antibiotics too 2 different kinds 3 times today ..Im nervous still haven't packed my bag ....all kinds of things are.running through my head I know I won't sleep tonight...:(
