Glad everything went so well I honestly dont remember anything from the time they gave me the meds to relax until I woke up in my room lol

Hi,  had my VSG 5/19 and I'm also a shallow breather.  Just make sure to do the breathing exercises, I didnt.  Biggest part of my post op was a lung issue, my surgery was fine.  I could have avoided these issues if I continued to do breathing exercises and walk.  7 weeks later and I no longer need inhaler,  so please keep deep breathing, and you'll be fine.

Traditionally I'm not a shallow breather and became more pronounced after surgery which they told me might happen.
