VSG Weds morning.

I am having my band taken out and sleeve done together Wednesday morning as well...and right there with you.....can't back out because the band needs to go no choice there.

Scared of the nausea and vomiting, I have a terrible time with anesthesia and getting IV's put in (no good veins hard stick). Well at least I know I won't be alone........will be thinking of you, I think we have this, no I know we've got this!!!!!

Even though this is a major surgery, I think it's a pretty easy surgery to have done..The pain after isn't so bad as they give you pain meds and send you home with them also..The worse part for me is I had a lot of burning...They didn't know why and just said some people have this..walk and sip on water as much as you can! It will soon be all over with...good luck to you!

Don't be scared!! Think positive! Surgery and recovery was a lot easier than other things thrown my way!! Good luck & see you on the losers bench!

PS - remember to walk, walk, walk and sip, sip, sip as soon as you can after surgery!
