Fantastic news!!  I'm going in for just the LBL in 8 days and I hope I bounce back as quickly as you seem to be doing.

Take it easy and let other people take care of you.  Can't wait to see "after" pics :-)

WAY to go! What a great accomplishment for you to have achieved such huge results. You should be super proud of this. I am about to check out plastics myself. Almost a year out and down 196 lbs. and pretty level I am going to start this next phase. Best of luck in the future!

Thanks!   I started aggressively looking at Plastics after the New Year.  I consulted with 5 different surgeons in the Midwest.   Each had a different take on what they felt could be accomplished via Plastic Surgery.  2 told me they had never done surgery on anyone who had lost as much weight as I had and had as much akin that needed to be removed.   The  plastic surgeon I finally settled on had the most aggressive approach.   His work is fantastic.

Be prepared for sticker shock.  My insurance only covered the pannicutectomy portion.  I had to pay for everything else.  My fees included surgery,  anesthesia, 2 nights in the hospital, all medications, all compression garments,  office visits for the next year and Cosmetic Assurance  (a cosmetic surgery insurance that will cover if I require hospitalization, tests, etc...post surgery).
