How my surgery went! Long update for anyone who loves details

I'm from Canada and waiting for my call for my surgery.  I have panic attacks and anxiety just having blood drawn .. I don't know how I'm going to make it through the hospital stay.  I've never had surgery before.  Perhaps a year down the road I will laugh at how nervous, anxious and panicky I was about the whole deal but right now I'm struggling. 

I too have problems with having my blood drawn.  I don't like needles and the thought of having a drain put in scares me more than anything.  It's nice to know I'm not the only one.  I just keep telling myself it's a small price to pay to get my life back.  (BTW, this is my very first post to the group!
