So far, i must be the luckiest VSG patient ever
on 6/17/15 8:53 pm
Had my VSG around 4pm on Tuesday, spent one night at the hospital, and then was released late this afternoon to come home.
I have had no nausea and the only pain I have had is just at a certain angle when I get up from a chair that is too soft and/or too deep.
I am following the Doctor's orders and hope it continues to be this easy. Wanted to thank everyone on this site for being so supportive.
This is wonderful to hear. I had a similar experience where everything went just perfectly. Little pain, no nausea, up and walking shortly after surgery. Home the next day. All that worry for nothing! hehehe I'm so happy for you.

Congrats on your surgery. I was amazed at how little pain I had from the surgery. I was only on pain meds for about 4 days.
