surgery date set

I finally have my surgery date set for August 31, I am super excited and yet extremely nervous. I switched from wanting an RNY to deciding on the sleeve last month and it took some serious pros and cons list on what would be better for me. I have always though the RNY would be better since that is what my mom had gotten many years ago, but I'm not her and I think I've made the right decision, at least I hope I am...lol. I appreciate reading all of your posts it really does help hearing what other people are going through. I can't wait to get this weight off and be more myself again i miss the old more active me, I do as much as I can now but feel so limited in my energy. Thanks for everything I will keep reading everything that is posted. 

I think you will be happy with the sleeve, although you will not lose as quickly as your mom did I'm sure.  Be patient and it will come, trust me.  Good luck to you on your journey!
