Day 2 of Sugery

my sugery was yesterday at 8:30am and everything went really well. I'm worried because the doctor said they'd be taking my morphine pump away today and I'm in a ton of pain when I move or bend.  Looking for reassurance from anyone....  Thanks!

When they took mine away I was having a lot of burning but they gave me liquid pain meds and sent me home with liquid pain med...when I think back, it's actually one of the easiest surgeries I have ever had considering it's considered a major surgery...They won't just "hang you out to dry" they will give you something!

I never had a pain pump but was on IV stuff the first day.  A lot of the pain can be from gas and that only goes away with lots and lots of walking.  

Liquid pain meds will do the job. They're pretty strong.
