Revision from band to sleeve- Tri-Care ?

This question is for my daughter. She has retired military Tri-Care insurance and needs a revision from lapband to sleeve-.  Her Doctor does the sleeve but Tri-Care will only approve the Gastric Bypass.  Wondering if anyone here has had success with fighting for the sleeve?  Any suggestions appreciated!  I did post in Revision forum, too.

 

I think they will only do the sleeve at certain hospitals / bases (?) I have a friend that just had WLS and she wanted a sleeve and would have had to go out of state to get the sleeve. She decided to get the RNY. Keep digging, I think it's possible for her to get a sleeve but I don't know the rules.

They offer the sleeve only at MTF you cannot get that option from an outside physician only RNY.  I am also going through the process currently with Tricare.
