Thanks GBG. I am really excited that i was able to sustain that pace for the entire walk. Is it weird to say that I'm already looking forward to the next one to try and improve on that time? Heck, even if it is weird I think I can work with this new "weird" version of me

I'm trying to figure that out. If I do another one over the summer then I will definitely need to travel north for cooler climates. I know that I have one in October but I am looking at one in late July and another option in early September. I figure one (or both) of those will probably end up happening.

Yay, you!!!!   Thanks for posting! Great motivation!!!

My surgery is in two more days, and I can't wait to come back and be able to post my own good news. My kids are 11 and 12, and we want to hike, bike, camp, ski, kayak, etc  together, but until I get rid of the spare 90 pounds, it's just too tough on the knees.

I've been fat, and I've been thin - and thin is better.

There is a better way. --Alaine of Lyndar
