Good luck and prayers to both of you! I'm having surgery on Wednesday! My sister just had surgery last Wednesday and she is doing great!!! Don't worry!!!

Do what the doctor and nurses say and you will breeze through.

Go in with a positive attitude. For me, the pain was 4/10 the first day and 2/10 on the second. Walk as much as you can and take your pain meds while in the hospital. I only needed liquid acetaminophen (no narcotics), after discharge.

You'll do well, you're in good hands. The nurses on the bariatric floor are really nice, they'll help you.

I will be having my surgery tomorrow 6/17 so I know how anxious you feel. You are at the hospital now so calm down and enjoy the changes you are about to encounter. :)
