Still in hospital! In a lot of pain:(
The pain has eased somewhat. I am not one to sound discouraging but the pain was so intense. Everyone's pain level is different but I think mine was so bad because of my doctor trying to get through the massive scar tissue from when I had my spleen removed. He has me drinking 5oz of fluid per hour and 50 grams of protein a day. He wants you sitting up at least 6 hours and walking as much as possible. I walked a half mile this morning but I was hurting before I got back home. I haven't taken anymore pain medicine today but I did buy me some liquid Tylenol. Thanks for asking, it won't be long for you now!
Sorry to hear about all the complications and pain you are having. I can imagine that it's hard NOT to regret your decision when you're in pain, but I am hoping that every day is better than the day before and by the end of this week, you'll change your mind about regretting the surgery and feel that much closer to normal.
