First solid food choices
Hope your journey is going well. I was so happy to move from mush to soft foods. I enjoyed egg salad, very thin sliced ham or rare roast beef, shrimp salad, fish (such as salmon or swai) pot roast or slow cooker chicken. You can check out sites such as eggface, bariatric foodie or Pinterest for recipes as well.
One suggestion......try any new foods at home first. Your tummy may not like something and the reaction isn't pleasant.
At 4 weeks out I was eating a lot of cheese, greek yogurt, egg salad (extra smooshed, with a glob of plain greek yogurt and some dijonnaise) and deli meats or cubed ham. I know a lot of people eat those little packets of tuna, but at almost 12 weeks out I still don't tolerate tuna - it's the only food that hits my gut like a rock.
