Whatcha eating today VSGers...Wednesday!!
Good morning all! Early start to the day today and I had a few extra minutes so I thought I would hop online and get things started. Yesterday I fell off the rails with my eating in the afternoon. I know exactly what happened and it is a pretty easy change for next time. Basically, I just let myself go entirely too long between meals/snacks and I fell back into old habits and grabbed food instead of eating healthy at home. I can say that even my off plan eating was still better than it would have been 8 months ago but it was a definite reminder that those habits are not gone for good. Today is a new day and I plan to make better choices.
B: Carbmaster chocolate milk/protein shake (pre/post workout)
L: Chicken Tenders and grapes (didn't eat these yesterday)
S: Beef Jerky & Cheese Stick
D: likely a P3 pack as I will be out and about this evening.
W&V: starting
E: about to head to boot camp and will also walk 2 miles after
NEXT?
Good morning. I've had that same failure mode where I make bad choices when I get too hungry. Its good you recognize the problem.
Breakfast - salmon
Lunch1 - crustless mushroom quiche
lunch2 - pulled pork and zucchini in basil cream sauce
Dinner - buffalo chicken and wheat thins
vitamins - on track
water - ok

The nice thing about maintenance is that you can eat higher calorie foods. If you keep your serving size to 4 ounces, its not too many calories.
I often wish I could eat more than that, but I just tell myself, "its ok. You can eat again in 3 or 4 hours."
Did I mention? I love my sleeve.

I love my sleeve too. I'm not up to 4 oz portion sizes yet but I know it will come in time. Honestly, I'm not in any big rush for it although, yes, I do at times wish I could eat more. I have always struggled with eating too much because my mouth wants it instead of my stomach. That is something that I have been really trying to focus on over the last several months.
Another day.
1: frankenshake
1.1: cheese stick
2: leftover greek chicken salad
3: I'm still deciding. I'm thinking I'll do breakfast for dinner simply because there are a LOT of leftovers in the fridge right now and BFD won't add to that. So that'd be cheese omelets, bacon, hash browns. I think I have some green onions I can add to make the omelets a bit more exciting.
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: yoga class (personal trainer is out of town)

I also waited too long before my afternoon snack and dinner. Luckily, I had half a Jersey Mike's sub in a tub waiting for me, so I did not grab anything before. Afterwards however, I snacked more than I should have.
