First ever post, first day of pre-op diet.

I have been a lurker for years, but now I have a surgery date and thought I would finally post. My surgery date is June 23 and today I started my liquid fasting diet. I am very motivated today, but nervous about the next 2 weeks. I'm coming here for motivation!
Congratulations! The 2 weeks prior to surgery are the most difficult, but after about 3 days, it gets a little easier. I just focussed on the fact that I so wanted to have the surgery, and that I wanted to do everything I could to make is go as smoothly and safely as possible. You'll do great! Keep posting and let everyone know how you're doing. For those of us who have had the surgery, we've all been there, so do understand. Good luck!
