Basically the joints on my left side suck :) I have a really bad left knee, left hip and left wrist and have had multiple knee and wrist surgeries and the knee and hip will both eventually be replaced but I'm not old enough yet for the doctors to be willing to do that. I dream of being able to run but every time I ask the doctors about that they just about roll around on the floor laughing. I figure that means that running is a no go for me. In the meantime I stick with walking and I have seen some significant improvements. I think that I still have a ways to go before I would cry uncle on the knee thing but figured I would at least explore alternatives and get bonus points with my therapist at the same time :)

Since WLS I have discovered that I love cashews. I never knew this prior to this. Now they are actually something that I have to worry with portions. It is waaaayyyy to easy for me to eat too many cashews.

They are my post WLS addiction.  I can't have cashews in the house or I become obsessed with them.

I've started taking a Qi Gong class which is a form of Tai Chi.  I really enjoy it, although I feel like a total dork in the class while I'm learning it.  The other students are older ladies (like me) and very supportive.  It's not very aerobic, but it's good for balance and discipline.

Our pool hit the 82 degree mark over the weekend so it's time to get back to resistance training with my water barbells.  It might be something I start doing after my evening walk, even just for 15 minutes.  Yay for summer!
