Pizza

Last night I made pizza for my family.  I made homemade crust, homemade sauce, the whole nine yards.  For me and my dad (who had RNY in October) I melted some mozzarella cheese in a frying pan and then put the toppings on top of that...hamburger and sauce for me, hamburger, pepperoni, peppers and mushrooms for my dad.  It was yummy!!

Ya know I never missed crust on pizza when I had the band as long as I had yummy toppings you make me want pizza or spinach lasagna minus the noodles lol

Gwen - Substitute lasagna noodles with zucchini. Use a mandolin or vegetable peeler to make zucchini "noodles" and layer casserole as you would with pasta. Yummy!

I've lasagna a couple times with the zucchini "noodles" - DELICIOUS!  You really don't miss the pasta at all.

Sounds yummy! I have seen that type of pizza on pinterest but never tried it. I have made and almond flour pizza though and it was yummy too!

Mmm sounds good! I have totally picked the toppings off a slice of pizza lol. Best part! I'm not a pizza crust person. Never have,  Never been!

I used to love love love pizza.  About a year ago, I found myself just picking off the toppings too.  I must try this soon!  Love the zucchini idea replacing noodles!

I do Pizza a few different ways......

 

On Lavash flatbread.... if I remember right, this is about 7 carbs for the Lavash....

 

On a cheese crisp

I've even done them on a slice of deli ham or turkey.
