Happy Saturday, time and time again I am reminded by my trainers and cotrainers that the loss is the combination of !1- what you put in your mouth 2- the importance water 3- move your body 30 mins each day. Enjoy. I'm taking a day off from exercise I have already logged 15 miles, 5 hrs wt training. enuf, I'm sore and deserve a day to just work in my garden. off to the garden center now. Have fun everyone

Exercise doesn't play a large role in weight loss ever. Diet is what really matters. :)  Exercise is awesome for overall health - but you can never outrun a bad diet.

True - exercise bulimia is definitely a way to lose weight...you just don't want to go there.

Even if you're not "exercising," you're moving when you're gardening or doing housework, etc. And moving is important too! Check out the calories burned (under exercise) in MFP for gardening.  Even xc runners in training, like my daughter, don't run every day. They take a day off.

For me  taking a day off is a treat, and chance for muscles to recover. I worked hard in that garden yesterday, it looks beautiful and naturally calories are expended.
