Although I wouldn't wish obesity on anybody, it would be nice to have a doctor that fully understands what a struggle it is for obese people to lose weight.

Now, if we could just to something about that doctor's awesomely awful orange tie!

Good article! I think most of us can relate to his story. How nice it would have been to have had a doctor who could personally relate to my story.

My GP was dead set against this operation. Was a cave man on the subject frankly. My endocrinologist was its champion and got my GP to sign off. Reluctantly but he did sign off.

GP is old and 150 lbs...... no concept of the problem or how to relate to it.

Good article. My surgeon had RNY about 10 years ago. It is nice to have a doctor that understands!
