Is this GERD symptoms?

Pre op I never had heartburn or reflux so it is difficult for me to tell if this is what Im experiencing. I take omeprazole 20 mg once daily, but there are day s I think I still have problems. Sometimes in the morning my sleeve feels "dry" and there is some burning in my back between shoulder blades. Also feel somewhat sick at stomach which confuses me with hunger. Ive tried adding an OTC  of zantac but not sure if its helping.

Definitely talk to your doctor, just in case you know.  My reflux burns in my chest and throat (never in my back) and after I take my omeprazole I can feel the difference in about 30 minutes.  I had reflux issues prior to surgery as well.  How far are you post op?
