Acid reducer question

Hi im almost 9 months out and have been off my acid reducers...just wondering if any of you are still on sone kind of acid reducer still..i feel the heartburn creeping back and just wondered if a majority of you are still taking something...

I take Nexium for two weeks every 3 months or so, when I find myself getting hungry again. 

I'm almost 5 years out and I need to take it daily. If I don't take it, I get false hunger pains. I feel so much better on it. :)

Same here - nearly 5 years out and still taking a PPI daily.  Not happy about it (interferes with absorption of calcium and iron, both of which require an acidic environment), but it's better than the alternative.

I still take 20mg of Protonix at 2 years out.  Don't know if I'll ever get off it. 

Nope.  If I get heartburn, I pop a pepcid and that takes care of it.  But even that has been very rare in the past few years.

At 3.5 years out I take 20 mg of Protonix each morning. When I don't take it, I'm miserable!
