Question for you....does the coffee have to be lukewarm before putting this in as to not break down the protein? My nut told me that adding protein powder to hot foods can "break it down", but I wasn't sure about this already premixed...might be a myth too!

Hi mandidel

We checked with Premier Protein about your question and here is what they had to say....

"Premier Protein shakes can be heated – it will not breakdown the protein in our formula. However, boiling the formula is not recommended. In addition, the tetra shake container should not be put in the microwave".

This is my go to every morning.decaf with a splash of Vanilla Premiere. I usually go through a container about every 2 days, which averages out to 1/4 serving (2-3 ounces) every cup. It never breaks down and isn't super syrupy sweet. Enjoy!

Just dont let them freeze, when they thaw, they don't go back to thin liquid.  It stays a weird clumpy mess.  Now, just barely frozen, they are a great treat.
