Will I feel like joining a camping trip 2 weeks post op?

Love that you did not tell your friends about surgery.

When you only two weeks out from major surgery, you probably shouldn't put yourself in a position where you're responsible for the welfare of your daughter (and maybe other kids?) somewhere in the woods with limited facilities. Just sayin' is all.

Thanks everyone.  You're pretty much confirming my gut feeling about it. 

I'm on day 8 post op and although I'm tired of the liquid diet I am only sore. If you're going to sleep on an air mattress and will have a canvas cover for shade and a nice lounging chair, then why not? You can take your food with you. I love to go camping with my family so I could do it.
