Tonight I watched his story. I have to say I was deeply touched and inspired by his courage. Speaking about the suffering he is done for years so Sounds very much like the suffering we have endured. Whitney's I personally can relate. The fact that he felt he hid from so many things he wanted to do his entire life and that he failed his physical appearance did not match the spirit truly was destined to be. He was a huge hero for me as a child and still is! I know this board is not a place to make political statements or general media issues to be covered however, I do feel that he's a hero just like so many of you here on the board that were brave enough to take a huge step and change your lives! I look forward to doing much the same soon :)

I too felt a great sorrow for him...

his story I believe is not unlike many in the trans-gender community

ie: overachieving in sports, or whatever would be considered a strictly male/female activity

the big glaring difference for him is that he will be haunted by the  "press"

and made a media fodder until the day he dies..

this is grossly unfair to him, and so sad..he'll never have a day of peace.
