Getting myself ready to head to hospital for my surgery today. I just wanted to thank everyone for all their words of wisdom and help during my wait period. You all have been so supportive with your tips and what to expect. I feel I am ready to do this thing. :)

Good luck! I had mine yesterday. Finished up about 5 pm and was walking by 7:30. I have been up several times tonight. A little uncomfortable in my stomach where the incisions are and my throat is a bit sore from the intubation but nothing too bad. You will do great!

Knock on wood but I am feeling good. Pain is being managed well and I am not nauseous.

My only complaint is I was in PACU FOR 5 hours till they got me a room.

Not walked yet, kinda dreading that first getting up and out of bed.
