I don't think I will be succesful!

Tanya, you're still in the healing phase after your surgery, and as your stomach heals, strange things can happen to your appetite, senses of taste and smell, and of course, your rate of weight loss. At 7 weeks out, I was certain I had made the worst mistake of my life to have the surgery. I was certain I was doomed to be fat no matter what I did. I was dead wrong.
During the next month, you'll start to settle into your new way of eating and soon it will be second nature.
Additionally, as the other posters mentioned, make sure your food choices are the healthiest possible. A few weeks ago, I went a little crazy and ate half a box of Goldfish crackers. My, they did go down easy! And I was still hungry afterwards. High-quality protein first, then some fresh vegetables and fruit, plus lots of water -- you cannot help losing weight if you do this.
