Not hungry!
I envy you. I'm 4 weeks out and on pureed foods, too. I am almost always hungry. I've been eating 700-1000 calories a day and drinking over 64 oz. I think one of my problems is eating too fast, so I need to slow down.
The veterans will need to comment on your situation because I sure don't know if there's anything bad about it.
Are you taking a PPI such as Prilosec or nexium? Hunger at this point is most often from stomach acid.

I know for sure I wasn't eating 500 calories a day at 2.5 weeks out, I think it's normal. Focus on protein drinks and liquids. You'll feel better soon.

I think it was about the same amount of calories for me at that stage. The most important point is getting in the fluids for now. The rest will happen in due time. It is also important to set a sort of schedule for your plan, such as three meals a day and 2 snacks, if this is by your doctor plan. I found that by spreading the drinking, eating throughout the day is more like grazing and will not help you further out. Now is a good time to get scheduled. Your water intake should be throughout the day and that does tend to keep you full. You are still new so have patience and keep the course. Everything will fall into place. Good luck.. Pam
