Advise for Newbies (or anyone)

I believe my post was misunderstood please take the time to read my response to Frisco.  Again I state this was not meant to scare anyone, it was meant to be informative.  I followed the clinic's advise to the letter of the law and ended up with a leak, rare? maybe, however without this information my situation would have gotten out of control very quickly.  I believe it is our responsibility to share our experiences, good or bad.  Knowledge is power.

Great info Ellie.  Thanks for sharing .  It is always good to be prepared for the unexpected and know what to do!  I find your info to always be straight forward and useful. My doctor told me the same thing.  Purchase a thermometer and that leaks can happen.  In fact they drill in all the possible complications so that you are familiar with them.
