Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? -- Saturday
I woke up super early for a weekend and the weather was gorgeous for my run! I'm starting to experiment with fueling during runs, now that I'm training for a 10k, and today I tried out Clif Bloks. My stomach did cramp up on me after the first 2 miles, so I cut my run short, but I'm not sure if this was because of the Bloks, my period, or something else entirely. So I'll try them again before my run next Saturday.
0.1: 1/2 pack Clif Bloks
1: frankenshake
1.1: 1/2 cinnamon roll from local pastry chef
2: tilapia
3: mexican casserole made from chipotle catering leftovers - I'll be adding Chipotle steak to the recipe, I didn't notice it was meat free until just now (which reminds me, I need to pull these things to thaw)
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: 42:05:04 10k training for a total of 2.21 miles, 30 minutes yoga (intermediate stretches for runners)

I have really been struggling this week with sticking with my plan each day. I'm trying to figure out why that is and haven't figured it out yet. I will keep working at it.
B: Protein shake and 1 fried egg
L: Pulled Pork
D: TBD Going out to dinner with my son
W&V: I'm off to a slow start this morning
E: switching things and making today a rest day as I'm pretty fatigued. I will walk 4 miles tomorrow instead. I am curious to see what my pace will be after a rest day.
Boy, do I hear you on the struggle. I feel like, after each milestone, I have a hard time being disciplined.
