I'll give it a try! As I've mentioned, I have never had all that much luck making them myself...

I used to nuke cheese... making 2-3 as needed...

The parchment makes a huge difference in texture - it siphons off a lot of the grease and helps the cheese crisp. Also the runner the slice, the crispier. I do mine at 250F for 30 minutes.

Thanks for the tips. I do this in the microwave; while it's good, I think it could be better. I will try what you said and see how it goes!

some people nuke that in microwave. make sure you don't burn it.

I take 2 slices of cheddar, I like extra sharp and I use the store brand or what HALA has pictured and put it between 2 paper plates and toss in the microwave for 60 sec. You have to play with your time depending on your microwave. It bubbles and cools and breaks up in crunchy pieces.
