I was sleeved in December and have lost 30 pounds.  The last two months I have lost nothing sty all.  What can I do to start losing weight again.  I do not always eat the right thing and often can't get the protein in.

Your easy weight loss window won't last forever... why are you wasting that precious time eating stuff you shouldn't? Go back to the basics. Protein first. 80g protein or more. 64oz. water or more. 800 calories or less. Under 40 carbs. Go back to doing all that and I bet the weight starts coming off again quickly.

Not to be flippant but you already know the answer and what you're doing wrong.

Eat right and get your protein in.

You need to track every single thing you eat and drink in a program like My Fitness Pal.  That's #1 - so you can get honest about how much you're actually eating.  Because the amounts you're eating right now are maintenance levels.  Not OK, right?

If you can't get the protein in at 4-5 months out there's only one reason (OK, two):  1 - you're not trying, or 2) you're eating too much of something else that is taking up precious room in your sleeve.

PROTEIN FIRST - no ifs, ands or buts.

What was your starting BMI? Mine was 40; and I've been a slow loser (I feel). Sleeved in late January and I'm down almost 40 lbs- which doesn't seem like much but for me that's half way to goal and an average of about 10 lbs a month.

If you know you're not eating right that's a separate issue... But for some of us we just don't see the same numbers as quickly as others and its just how we're made. Only you know which it is.

Are you close to a "milestone" weight? I'm told the body lingers at familiar weights. Might be an urban legend. Dunno. But it took me about two months to lose 10 lbs as I approached 200.

Stick to your program. Follow the rules and talk to your surgery team about difficulties so they can offer suggestions and guidance.

Good luck to you.

eating the right thing and eating protein first and mostly will get you back on the right track.
