4 days post-op :)
I can't believe I'm already 4 days post-op. The first couple of days were really rough with lots of nausea. That seems to have passed, thankfully! I stepped on the scale this morning, and I'm down 15 pounds from a week ago!. I'm honestly shocked. In the past, it's always been such a struggle to lose 1-2 pounds a week, even on dr. led low calorie diets. So, that is certainly motivating me to just stick with the plan. I know it will slow down, but I'm just so happy to see success right now that I'm gonna hold onto that to get me through this liquid phase :) My current favorite thing is lemon ginger tea with a little honey. Seriously so good, even when I was nauseated.
My dr. gave me some chewable bariatric vitamins, but I hate them. They are orange flavored (which I apparently cannot stand orange flavoring since my surgery), and they are super chalky. I need to research some options for better bariatric vitamins because I really can't handle those! Suggestions welcome!
Flintstones are far from complete, and not a great option for us.

I like Bariatric Advantage for calcium CITRATE chews - I go for the chocolate peanut butter. They've also got non-orange flavors of chewables. Look for one with 100% of most vitamins and minerals and take two doses a day for 200%.
