I started my journey on 9/9/2014 (initial consult) at 537 lbs. I had surgery on 11/3/2014. Today I stepped on the scale and I weighed 337lbs. I have lost 200lbs in 232 days. I have 87lbs until I reach my doctors goal weight of 250lbs. So many NSVs with losing 200lbs but happy to say all is well.

Holy moly, that's amazing. It's not often we see people who are true heavyweights like you and me on this board, so I always want to know - did you follow 800 calories/80g+protein/40g of carbs or fewer? Or what approach did you take? I started out heavier than you were (600 pounds!) but lost down to 488 on my own (day of surgery). I had quite a stall a few weeks out though, and I honestly thought I might be lucky to lose 150 pounds total from this surgery. You give me hope that maybe I can see even more weight loss than I'm expecting... though you have the "man factor" going for you. ;) :)

Congrats again! :)

I lost 64lbs pre op on an all liquid diet that I did for two months. Post op I am doing a 700cal/70g of protein/30g of carb diet. You can do it!!!
