Feeling overwhelmed
Gwen,
That's fantastic! I am so incredibly happy for you and the progress you have made. When I did my 10K last month I teared up as I crossed the finish line; obviously I can relate to being a bit overwhelmed with emotion and being so darn thankful for what we can do now.
These fantastic changes have come about because of all of the hard work you put in each day. Remember to congratulate yourself for what you have achieved.

Isn't it fun to view life from the opposite side of where you were before! Your story is so inspirational!
Thanks all!

I was feeling the same way yesterday as my husband crossed the finish line of his first (and he says last!) half-marathon. Just 18 months ago he tipped the scales at 300 lbs. and needed a couple hours to recover after mowing our lawn! And this guy ran 13.1 miles in 3 hours.
Simply amazing how life has changed for both of us in the last couple years.
Congrats on getting another 5K under your belt!
