What a great job. You are an inspiration for all! You take the time to add to the board discussions and are so free to share your path with others.

BTW the b/p reading is awesome!

Gwen,

So proud of you! I can see why your Dr. was so thrilled. You are an inspiration to us all. I really want to do a 5k! Still only at 2 miles so time will tell. Body still aches since I am still 206. Need to be patient. Thanks for the update.

Bless you,

Robin

Thank you so much!  I started running when I was around 260 - it was hard, and still is, but it gets better every day. :D  I love running outside now!  I was 212 when I did my first 5k race.  So you can definitely do it!  Just make sure to stretch a lot and take care of your muscles and joints.

You are a rock  Gwen!

You are such an inspiration to many of us in all stages of weight loss.  In fact, I've signed up for a Qi Gong class starting next week because of you.  You make it feel like nothing is impossible.  Good on ya, grrl

Thank you!!

I'm so excited for you and your Qi Gong class.  We do an abbreviated version of that at the beginning of Tai Chi and I would totally take a class if I had one available to me!  I hope you love it.

One piece of advice, that you might not need to hear, is that I really recommend committing to a month. I know that, for me, it's so easy to feel so outside of my comfort zone that I want to quit after the first time I try something new - especially with exercise.  Forcing myself to give things a month really helped me to find things I liked.

You got this!
