Hi!  Thank you for the warm welcome!  I see you had your surgery in 2014.  Do you have any pointers for me now in pre-op and then any for post-op?

Welcome!  I too am working on all of my pre-op requirements and should be having surgery toward the end of July or in August.  Good luck!!!!  I wish you all the best, you'll find so many helpful people and post here on this site.

Hi!  Thank you for the warm welcome!  Good luck in your journey too!  It's nice to have a support system like this where we can talk to people who are in the same boat and know what it is like to have weight loss surgery.  I pray that everything goes well for you too!

Hi Tracie,

You will find the members of this forum to be incredibly helpful. Since my surgery on Feb. 2, they have helped me directly with advice about: 1. Dehydration after surgery; 2. Buyer's remorse; 3. Laxatives; 4. What items to pack before surgery; 5. Unfailing support and kindness. Indirectly, just by reading the posts, I've gleaned tons of extremely useful information.

Hang on; it's going to be a crazy and amazing ride!

Hi!  Thank you for the warm welcome!  I am so glad that I have found this site!!  It seems like almost any question or concern can be answered here.  How have things been going for you since your surgery?  Do you have any pointers for pre-op and then later post-op (kind of like the things you mentioned in your post)?  I would never have even thought to think of some of those things.  I am super excited for this adventure!
