Stomach indentation .... 4 days post-op question
Sounds like this is very normal so I assume yours will go away too. I love this site - such great in for from everyone!

Yes completely normal, it is from the stitch that is tied to the muscle, (that's why that area hurts the most too) at about 5weeks post op mine made this loud pop noise when I bent over I was terrified I thought something had burst! Luckily it was just the stitch dissolving but magically after, the dent was gone. My surgery buddy is 8months post op and her stomach still has a lil indentation but mines is completely gone so I guess it depends on the person if it stays or goes away but it won't stay that dented in forever!

That makes perfect sense. Wow...a popping noise would be alarming!!! Glad for that piece of info too just in case I experience anything similar.
