Surgery date almost here

I will be having my sleeve surgery on the 15th.  Of course I am excited and nervous at the same time.  I am 50 years old and I started this in January at 396.  Last Friday at my Dr.'s appointment I am down to 362 and thats the lowest I have been in many years.  Luckily for me I am fairly active at work and I have high blood pressure (that has actually started to come down some with the 34 pound loss) and sleep apnea. 

I just wanted to check in and thank everyone who contributes to making this site what it is.  I have learned a bunch here and I hope to be back checking in and updating my progress in a few days.

I am 58 and am still in the pre-op process until August, but I like to follow those who have the surgery at 50+ and have similar health issues.

I also have high blood pressure and had undiagnosed sleep apnea until last year. The doctors believe it may have caused my heart problem - atrial fillibration...a real pain in the a**.

Similar stats to me. 54 ys old. started the journey at 388. today at 362 too!

My surgery is in 2 weeks for today.
