Need cheap, good vitamins
There are 28 recommended daily vitamins and minerals. Last time I checked, Flinstones is missing 11 of them completely. The gummy version is missing 18. 11/28 = 39%, which is a bit more than a third.

Gwenn- So, according to your information, Centrum Chewables is missing most of them as well. I'm comfortable with these and I don't feel that my health professionals are doing me a disservice by reccommending a vitamin that I am capable of taking. If I get sick from one, it's more important that I take the one that I can tolerate no matter what the percentage of the 28 it is.
My recommendation is based on the ASMBS guidelines. Regardless - you're the one who will have to deal with the consequences of vitamin/mineral deficiency, not your health professionals. So it's your choice to take whatever vitamins you want.

I agree with you, Gwen. HERE is an excellent article that backs you up.
Perhaps people who have had VSG think they are safe because they did not have a malabsorptive surgery, but studies have shown that supplementation is just as important for VSGers as well.
To me, it is definitely not worth the risk. I have read far too many stories in my 8 years here about people who have had serious issues (even died) because they did not take the proper amount and type of vitamins and supplements needed.

Get Centrum or generic equivalent, and yes, they make chewables.
Another option is Patchmd.com. All you need is a patch for 12 hrs a day. They frequently have a 40% off promotion code, making them only $12/month.
