STALL!
I am seven months post op gastric sleeve, over sixty, eating the same foods, exercising as much as I can, and the quick weight loss has stopped. I have thirty five pounds more to lose and the the fat doesn't want to go. What am I doing wrong? I eat less than fifty carbs a day, I exercise about 4 times a week, eat around eight hundred calories, but the scale just won't budge. Eat protein first, drink my water. Ugh, this is frustrating. I've been at the same weight for the last month.
Stalls happen throughout this process, so this is pretty normal. But if you share exactly what you eat with us, we can try to troubleshoot.

I am very close to you in surgery date, weight loss and age. I am 55 years old, 6-1/2 month out from surgery, have lost about 60 pounds and have about 45 more to lose. I was on a 2/3 week stall about a week ago. Nothing changed in my diet, etc., just kept losing and gaining the same pound. I finally broke my stall and have lost a couple of pounds. Just keep doing what you are doing and wait it out. Don't get discouraged and keep you eye on the prize! Good luck to you!
I was at 260 before surgery. Pre surgery after diet, I was 246. I weigh 175.6 now. Yes I lost 85 pounds, but I have stayed at this weight for three weeks. I will try to be more patient. I keep the calories at 800 to 900, under 50 grams of carbs. I DO eat one protein bar a day, and chicken and tuna, and Fage yogurt and so on and so on. I was sick the last week so couldn't exercise much. I just want to get to goal.

By the way, I want to weigh 140 pounds which is at the high end of the normal BMI range for someone who is 5 feet 3 inches.
What, exactly, are you eating each day? Do you weight or otherwise measure everything you eat?

Yes I do. I use MFP every day. Don't eat junk, eat one protein bar a day, usually sugar free Dannon Lite and Fit Yogurt, tuna for lunch, chicken for dinner, and a small serving of vegetables. I did eat recently Enlightened Fudge Bars which are high protein bars and expensive to boot. They are low in carbs. That's about it. One day last week I went on a bender and ate a couple of protein bars. As far as eating carbs or junking out, I haven't done that since I was sleeved.
Protein bars aren't much better than candy bars, so that is something to look to removing from your diet. How much liquid are you getting each day?
