Anyone out there have or had PCOS and decided to get sleeved?  Any changes after the surgery with ur PCOS?  Did it go away or help it in any way, like normal cycles, or less facial hair?  I'm hoping to be sleeved in August and was just wanting to see if it helps with PSOC.  Thanks in advance

I was diagnosed with PCOS 15 years ago and had the sleeve done in August of last year. I started have a regular, although slightly longer, cycle in December after having irregular or completely absent periods for over 6 years. Hair growth has slowed some as well. I actually had my yearly gyno appointment today and we discussed the effects of weight loss on PCOS. He seems confident that the majority of my issues related to PCOS will be resolved.

Thanks so much for the info. I'm looking forward to the less hair but not so much the cycles.  Oh well, the bad comes with the flood ;)

My cycles are fairly normal, though I also have an IUD. I still get cysts, still have pain, and am still a hairy b*tch. I have noticed that my dark patches of skin have lightened up tremendously, though!
