Morning All!
Hey everyone!
I am brand spankin new to OH and just wanted to build relationships with fellow sleevers! I'm 6 weeks post-op and have been on QUITE the rollercoaster ride thus far. I have about another month before I'm able to see the local surgeon (I had my surgery in Mexico) so I've been snooping around yalls pages and topics for a while now for help, insight, etc. Feel free to say hello back! I hope to become a familiar "face" and maybe even an inspiration for others eventually!

Hello! I'm a soon to be sleever (april 21st). This forum is awesome! Hope your roller coaster ride is over and you move on to smooth sailing!
Had surgery in Mexico. All was well until 2 weeks post op. Have been nauseous EVERY single day since. I went to a clinic once and the emergency room another time. Both times I was prescribed anti-nausea meds that didn't help at all.One med in particular made me throw up! I had to get IV fluids at the ER because I was so nauseous I couldnt eat or drink. Still not getting all fluids in and protein is pretty much out of the window as all of my recent attempts have failed. (Shakes make me sick!!/hardly eating) I'm just kind of blindly chugging along this journey until Ican see a local doctor at the end of next month. Which is why I'm glad I joined here so I can get some much needed assistance.
Welcome! Congrats on your recent surgery.
