Going in wednesday for TT/pani
Skin weighs next to nothing. Unless you have a significant panni - like hanging down to your knees - that still has a lot of fat attached, surgery isn't going to make much of a difference in your weight. I had a lower body lift after losing 160 pounds - 5-6 pounds of skin removed. And a year later, my weight was right where I started!
I'm kind of surprised a surgeon would do the tt/pani without you being at goal or at least have been the same weight for a year. What if you have the surgery and then lose another 20 or 30lbs and have more skin that needs to be addressed? It can happen. Would you go in for another round of plastics to get it addressed?
Good Luck.

Not sure how concern for long-term success in plastics is "funny?"

So I guess you have changed your mind about never having another elective surgery...? I will warn you that if you thought your gallbladder removal was bad, you better brace yourself for a TT. It hurts like hell and makes gallbladder removal feel like having a splinter removed.
