Woooohooo!!!    That is the best news ever!  I took Byetta and 1000mg of Metformin every day too.  And those things did a horrible number on my stomach.

I couldn't be less than 50 ft. away from a bathroom during a certain time period every day because of those meds.  Ugh!

Keep testing your glucose after meals to get an idea of what your body can and can't handle.  It's a great feedback tool.

Great day isn't it? I was on 2500 Metformin, Byetta, and Glimiperide before and now I got the clearance to take nothing. A1c 5.6!!!!. I haven't had the nerve to actually stop the 500 MG of Metformin yet because i think it helps with the weightloss.

Hey that is awesome!

I take Levemir (insulin) at night, and Kombiglyze (a metformin blend) in the mornings.  I will be so happy the day I no longer have to take these, and super happy to not pay $200 a month for them!!!  This right here is the main reason that I am trying to have WLS..
