Powder protein with milk is killing my stomach

What type of protein powder is it? Some people have trouble with different kinds. Perhaps switching (whey, soy, egg white...) will help?

So sorry you're having that issue. I tend to have that problem with Premier Protein, but not with Nectar. I mix mine with almond milk (30 cal) or ice water, depending on the flavor.
You can get a Nectar Variety Pack Sampler from S103 Inc Health Supply. I called 866-333-7403 to order mine and there is one packet of every flavor. Cost is $16.99 - including shipping. Best thing I've done!
Some people become lactose intolerant after surgery. So if you're mixing your protein powder with milk - well, that could be the problem. Do what another poster suggested and try unsweetened almond milk. If it doesn't cause problems then milk was your culprit.
100% whey protein isolate powder is what you want also - if you're using something that's a blend or a concentrate it can still have lactose solids in it that cause problems. 100% whey protein isolate is much better tolerated. And more quickly absorbed and digested by the body.
